Yuyuko of the Netherworld [冥府の幽々子] (Platformer game)

So I decided to put all of my previous Game Maker projects on hold to get a fresh idea going. So now I'm making this platform game which is essentially Kirby with Touhou Characters.

Here's a little video of me testing out the invincibility lollipop:

I will be devoting a lot more of my time to this game so I will be making Fraxy-related things less frequently (I'm sort of lacking inspiration for Fraxy right now anyways). Progress is slow at this point because I'm a terrible spriter (the enemies in the video are about as good as it gets when I try to do Touhou. Anything more complex, for instance: a humanoid, just looks terrible) and my old spriter (the one who did Yuyuko's sprites) was too busy with his own projects and, sadly, had to leave.

If anyone is a good spriter and wants to help, that would be appreciated.

Contributions for boss and miniboss ideas would also be appreciated. Here's a list of my current ideas:

Minibosses (Kirby boss based off of in parentheses):
-Stage 1: Cirno (going to be a Mr. Frosty-style boss)
-Stage 2: I'm thinking Koakuma for now...
-Stage 3: Giant Mechanical F.O.E.
-Stage 4: Yukkuri Marisa
-Stage 5: Undecided
-Stage 6: re-fighting all previous minibosses.

Bosses
-One of the Aki sisters... (Whispy Woods.)

Was thinking about it, but it would sort of clash with the setting of the first level so I dropped the idea.

Actually, there is already a game out that has a similar idea going called Yami no Rumia (I think) It plays a lot like Kirby's Adventure and copies the graphic style just a bit. So while it's not an original idea... but I support the project anyway.

Funny you said that, I learned of that game's existence not long after I started this project. My game is closer to the original Kirby's Dream Land (where copy abilites were non-existent, It would be too daunting to try to code/incorporate copy abilities anyway, and there was one stage per level) rather than Kirby's Adventure in terms of gameplay, and uses Yuyuko instead of Rumia (which, in my opinion, is what it should've been, as I don't see the resemblance between Kirby and Rumia at all.).

Meta-Knight doesn't exist in that game.

I said that it is closer to the original Kirby's Dreamland in terms of gameplay, There are going to be a few elements from later Kirby games (Including the music, which is from both Touhou and Kirby games, but mostly from the latter)

I haven't thought of putting a Poppy Bros Sr.-style boss in yet, I have only one miniboss idea so far (Two if you count the grey FOE that I'm using to test miniboss mechanics that may or may not make it into the final game.)

IMO either Shizuha or Minoriko.

The game isn't set in autumn, it wouldn't make sense for either of them to appear

I know the same Midboss is used twice. (I don't have any official midboss sprites yet, and I probably won't until I get a good spriter.)
