To embed video, there are tags up in the corners., use the [youtube*][/youtube*] tags up in the corners.
say you want to embed this video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gNYZH9kuaYM
you take the end of the url after the = (the numbers and letters, in this case gNYZH9kuaYM).

so it should look like this:

and the finished product will look like this.

Vimeo is also a choice for video hosting. http://www.vimeo.com/759678 for instance.
take the end part (numbers) 759678

and wrap it in vimeo tags like this:
