At the dead of night, a young noble crept out of a bedroom. If it were any other man, and any other room, it might be easy to suppose an illicit midnight liaison. However, this man was leaving his own room, and no young woman waited within for his return. As silently as one untrained in the art of stealth could be expected to be, he made his way to the house’s library.
The library was a large one, and aside from one small area near the door, where the shelves were stacked with the 20 or so most titillating books that the nobleman’s older brothers could find, was barely used. Dust lay heavily on the thick carpet, and it was all he could do to avoid coughing as it billowed up from every footstep. Having made his way to the far end of the bookshelves, he searched for a volume he knew must be there. In short order he found it: First Principles of Elementalism. Trembling with anticipation, the lad sat down, and started to read…
The more mundane Elementals, Fire, Air, Earth and Water, are well-known and frequently chronicled. They are called upon in old stories of master sorcerers who battle valiant knights, and have been said to grant requests for aid in tales of intrepid adventurers - the story of Glorin the Sailor, who called on the sea to aid him in escaping pirates, is a popular example. But unbeknownst to all but scholars of the arcane, Elementals encompass more than just the classical elements. Elementals manifest concepts as much as worldly materials, concepts such as valour and fear, love and hatred. It is such an Elemental that the youngest son of Lord Strongman conjured one black night, aided by a grimoire he had discovered in his family home. That night he became an Elementalist of Awe, using the power of the being he had enslaved to create an impressive visage, and so draw greater strength from the reaction people had to him.
Lord Badass now stands seven feet tall, and is muscular beyond almost any other man. He wears sparse armour, but seems nearly invulnerable to harm. He burns with an unnatural flame that afflicts all who seek to harm him, and with a devastating glare and a powerful wave of his hand he inspires his supporters, and commands lightning to strike his foes. All these contribute to the impression he leaves upon his audience, and from their awe he draws strength to maintain his power. To defeat him, it is theorised that one must simply leave him alone - but then he's made you go away, so what's the point?
Pandora's Abyss
The Baron Armand Victoire is well-known as an effective if somewhat harsh liege-lord, who is loyal to the current King of Leccenia and nobody else. Like any good ruler, he is primarily concerned with his own lands, so has retained the bulk of his available knights within the Victoire Barony, to ensure his own security in the face of a potential incursion from the Pit. Of course, he can always make an exception for one or two...
As one of the most difficult of Lord Victoire's knights to get on with, Sir Impressio was sent straight to the front line at the first opportunity. Sir Impressio considers himself the most important figure in any given situation, and is only occasionally right. He stands nearly seven feet tall, covered in muscles and quivering with barely-restrained machismo. His short black hair and oversized moustache neatly frame a pair of watery blue eyes and a large Roman nose. He could, perhaps, be called handsome, if anyone could find the time between calling him a reckless fool and an overbearing incompetent.
Dungeons & Dragons
Race: Hill Dwarf // Class: Fighter (6)
Traubon Holderhek is a dwarven adventurer of some small infamy. Travelling with the half-Elven sorcerer Ivelios Anilnoul, and more recently having met up with a number of others, his career has been one of looting, smashing and general unnecessarily-antagonistic behaviour. He recklessly challenges almost anything that seems to be worth fighting, and even such apparently-inoffensive things as doors and windows are not safe from his casual vandalism. His aggression has got him into serious trouble more than once, but if his enormous greatclub isn't enough to resolve a situation in his favour, his comrades have so far been willing to step in and rescue him. He considers his greatest triumph the occasion on which he smashed his way through the floor of an abandoned house, and tends to introduce himself as 'the Dragon Slayer' despite the dragon in question being wounded and dying at the time.

Guess I'd better dump a list of characters. Will update descriptions and the like eventually.
Appearence: Take a kangaroo. Make it smaller. Give it boxing gloves and clothing of a regular person. Give it armor that comes out from his back as a protection method (it's something of his species). Said kangaroo is red, his boxing gloves are green, and he wears a white t-shirt and blue pants.
Personality: Can be a bit cocky. He's usually nice and helpful when not provoked, though.
Fighting Style: Shows himself cautious when against a larger enemy, but will usually go all out. He barely gets tired, due to his Aura.
Background:His planet of birth, Dymona, is home to several Foboxes, an alien species that looks like a small kangaroo on Earth. However, these have a special ability: they are great boxers, and their style is alike them. They also have protective armor that covers them when they are defending. If it breaks, it regens quickly, but the Foboxe will be tired from the regeneration.
Gelthor, however, possesses an aura that prevents him from ever getting tired: The Regen Aura, which greatly increases his stamina in combat, chase or escape. Activation of it makes him almost like a hero who will never become tired in fight, and a dangerous opponent. He only uses it in situations of life or death, though.
He is the guardian of Dymona now, and in 23 years of age, he continues to protect it with his life, and at all costs.
(Note: I'd love it if someone actually made art of him. I keep picturing him in my head, and I'd like to see a depiction of it. If anyone does, his Regen Aura is green.)
Species:Archangel
Age:500 (30 human years)
Appearence:Completely shining white skin, blue eyes, white hair, a muscular build, Even The Guys Want Him, but he usually wears his white armor over his skin, which makes him a strong hero.
Personality:Smart and nice. Will hate it if you try to counter an argument he KNOWS it's true.
Fighting Style:Holds many strategies for the same foe. Will never try to attack unless he knows its guarenteed he'll hit and the foe won't counter.
Background:Spriterkid is the physical manifestation of Miguel Próspero's mind. He's an archangel who holds the answer to many questions and has a lot of friends from other dimensions.
Currently, he fights alongside Gelthor and 3 other companions who hold different auras, usually. He'll usually fight along other dimensional friends when he can, though.
Archangel Spriterkid holds the Brains Aura, which gives him the mind of a supercomputer. His IQ at this state is 467.366467477.
His IQ while not at the state is still pretty high, having an IQ of 140.
Species:Human
Age:14, soon to be 15
Appearence:Medium build, with greenish-brownish eyes, brown medium hair.
Personality:Just like his archangel form, he is smart and nice. Unlike it, he's shy and nervous. He'll still hate it if you try to counter an argument he KNOWS it's true.
Fighting Style:He'll RUN at the very sight of danger.
Background:Miguel Próspero is an average kid at school. Except he has nice grades.
However, he has a secret he shares with many other users of the internet: he may possess a form of his liking.
Spriterkid uses his human form for the human world, while he uses his angelic form for the other dimensions and worlds.
*Following contains high amounts of Marty Sue with very high probability, continue at your own risk*
Major aspects are the most significant parts of the Original One, each split approximately 5000+ years after it's release from solitude.
They are attributed as different part of Original One's personality, basically paragons of chosen traits.
Initially, all of them had a strong connection to each other, but as time went on they developed their own character. As they grew out of their roles, their connection weakened. Where once death of one would could plausibly slay all the other Major Aspects, now there is practically no binding between them.
Age: 26000+ years
White started out as a paragon of Original One's benevolent virtues, it was eager, ambitious and above all, kind and protective. It longed for freedom and peace, seemingly undisturbed by the melancholy of eternity, as it posessed a nigh infinite virtue of patience.
White set in motion many of the events that took place in the last 25000 years, mostly through his rivalry with Black. His determination to neutralise Black as a threat to pretty much everything quickly became a principle and in time guilt.
In his search for power, he mastered pretty much all crafts he ever came across, to the point where learning itself became the point of improvement. White studied the nature of the multiverse, down to the tiniest particle and as such had an incredible mastery over reality.
The peak of his power occured at around the 15000+ years mark, upon which he began to question if it was possible to get rid of Black at all, or if he was even justified to do so. His final goal became to eradicate any trace of major influence of him and other aspects on the multiverse. It is around this time that his powers began to wane.
Much could be told about his work in the span between years 5000 and 20000, but he spent most of those in monotonous observation or meditation and training.
Current state:
Like all the other major aspects, he has lost almost all of his power, but unlike them, his body seems to have become completelly insulated to most forms of energy, which makes him probably the weakest of the major aspects. He seems to still retain uncanny reflexes and incredible strength though.
His personality had changed considerably. While he shows patience and kindness to those around him, his smile is often fake. He has lost most of the hope to ever undo the damage Black and his legacy have done to the multiverse and is steadily becoming more sociopathic and depressed. It's his sheer will that prevents him for snapping at any second.
Employed alongside Grey/Black, but almost constantly fleeing into prolonged isolation. Black is then often sent to retrieve him. Violently.
Age: 26000+ years
Grey was the paragon of curiostiy of the Original One. Initially hostile to both Black/White he pretty much saw the entire world painted in those colors, something he grew out of through interaction with others.
He had a long-standing friendly rivalry with White, which was mostly comprised of Grey using White as a sort of a measuring bar for his weaponry.
The 2 major phases of his life between 5000+ and 15000+ (which later intertwined) were the global research of magic and machinery. Grey has an innate contact to any global source of magic of any given realm he enters, which he often used to detect presence of other powerful beings (Black in particular). Basically, during his first 5000 years of life, Grey was an extremely powerful magician, resilent through training with White.
However, after that, magic could no longer sate his hunger for unknown. He followed White in pursuit of the rules that make up all existence, but unlike White, he applied the new knowledge into construction. Deadly weapons, pocket realms, self-sustaining paradox reactors that work off the difference between the variety in the physics in the realms, ton of stuff. Several of his research labs are hidden on more/less populated areas of known and unknown worlds, storing fusion of technology and magic. A number of artifacts and other entities have been created by him, some only taked about in hushed whispers.
Current Status:
Grey coped with his loss of powers by trying to immediately recover them - a process his weak body was in no condition to sustain. After severe (partly irreversible) damage to his body, he decided to graft a special suit onto himself, one that would allow him to store the energy, one he could improve better than his flesh. The plating was planted directly onto his skin and permamently fused, a helm was affixed to his spine and the bones in his arms were surgicaly removed before a number of joints was installed (His hands look more like tentacles now) to provide better flexibility for incantations.
His character has become alot more desperate too - desperate for power. It seems that his pursuit of research has become his top priority, he is following goals strictly to maintain the fragile truce between White/Black as to not endanger his projects.
Currently employed alongside Black.
Age: 26000+
Black was the malice, hatred, resentment of the Original One. It felt hatred for what it was. It hated others for creating it, it felt like it was laden with the sins of others that it never asked for. Black never had a particular goal, but it had rage, rage against everything. It craved power, enough to end all realms and arguably, was very close to that. In fact, it would be true to say that Black was more a force than a man, since it was a huge, huge power-up whore, recklessly mingling all possible energies within itself, until it had to resort to actively maintain a human shape, terrible essence seeping from it without stop. This made Black especially indestructible, it's body could be crushed and eradicated, but it lived on, it never accepted defeat.
Black is the creator of Master Sword(Ace of Swords), which he made in a process similar to his own ascend to power, albeit with a different result. Also a sword.
A number of Lesser Aspects have split from Black, either willingly or through attempts to netralise him.
Current status:
Probably due to his anomalous body, Black retained the most powers among the Major Aspects, as well as an unique ability to enter a pocket realm which he apparently holds inside himself.
Black has since gotten much better actually. He abandoned his quest to destroy all, after finally getting rid of old burdens and now fancies himself a free mercenary, currently in well-paid servitude under a certain demonic overlord prince. He tries to enjoy life his own way.
Age: 26000+
Uh. Yeah. Green. Green is embodiment of Original One's childlike naivety and ignorance, but also innocence. While probably the least powerful Major Aspect (Except for Rosa), he seems to have a strong bond with life and it's variations, effectively being able to communicate with and commands all natural forces. He supported White/Grey to the best of his abilties, but mostly never played any huge role.
What's unique about him, seems to be his sheer unwillingness to change. To this day he remains the sole Major Aspect to never have any change in personality and in fact, seems to only have gotten less aware of things outside of his imagination than before.
Current Status:
Grey is in care for him, currently he resides in the aforementioned demonic overlord prince's castle, taking care of the gardens.
He seems to not care for his loss of powers at all and his ability to control nature also seems unphased.
Rosa seems to have been the pure idealist and romantic part of Original One, unique for being seemingly the only Major Aspect of female gender (Which suggests that she also respresents Original One's feminity). Not much is known about her deeds as she actively tried to hide from the Aspects and remained largely indifferent towards their conflict until contacted by Serenity.
Current Status: Following the Judgement event, she is yet to resurface. Serenity however, hinted that even if she did survive, she would probably not want to be found.
Minor Aspects:
Nova is a weird case. Preceding the events of Judgement UberBlack has established a number of temples all over the multiverse, reason of which was unclear at first. Later however, after all the Major Aspects were seemingly dead, those were raided to discover a teeming number of projects, ready to be unleashed on the world after UberBlack's end.
One of those, was a self-producing project that created weird humanod figures called "Unnamed" (PARADOX DETECTED). Those seemed to improve with every "generation" - Basically, in certain time intervalls, a new Unnamed would appear and prove itself more powerful by defeating the previous one.
Nova was one of those, was however, "differen", probably "defect".
Unlike other Unnamed, he was not shrouded in a peculiar essence, while other Unnamed never talked, he appeared very intelligent and talkative, but above all else, he seemed to not posess any particular powers. While he felt attracted towards the last Unnamed one, he clearly didnt have the power to defeat it.
"Nova", as he called himself, used his freedom to become a passive observer in the struggle between White's successors and the Dullahan Army, particularly during the events of the Monolith.
With time however, Nova found his powers growing. His sight became completelly circular and gained an "awareness", ability to see anything in a certain distance, no matter if it was obscured or concealed.
Following this, he gained an ability to basically cause powerful explosions in any point of his awareness area.
Finally, his last ability became his touch, able to disintegrate anything in a prolonged grasp.
With those powers however, came a sudden shift in his mood. He felt more and more compelled to attack the current Unnamed, the urge clearly clouding his mind right until the point where he couldnt handle it anymore and went berserk.
It was only with the help of White's successors that he managed to regain his humanity after defeating the Unnamed, he has since joined their group to hunt down Ace of Swords in his current dealing with the Neolyths.
Ominously enough, a new Unnamed has not yet appeared to challenge Nova.
The story of Radiant/Valiant is a long and bizzare one.
Well, in short: He is part Master Sword/Part physical virus created by Grey to contain Master Sword.
Certain events surrounding Master Sword's capture and subsequent escape revolved around this virus. Master Sword managed to escape the restraining infestation by literally splintering the infested chunk of steel off and making a run for it.
The sentient virus refused to be defeated that easily. Now in posession of a good chunk of Master Sword's essence and body, it replicated it's full structure. The result was a being not unlike Master Sword himself, albeit with no actual solid body - the essence is bound to the Axe Radiant/Valiant is carrying, which is the reshaped metal of Master Sword's body itself.
Following it's prolonged chase after Master Sword, R/V's new capabilties made it an ideal vanguard for Grey, who assigned him to various positions and odd jobs, particularly regarding the Dullahan Army. Following the Judgement event, R/V has joined up Galagladi, Kaje and Nova to pursue them through the realms.
Initially one of the three Lesser Aspects created by Black as ambassadors towards the Metal Fist Legion and the Aggregate. Follwing the three-way alliance's dissolve, Kaje was stranded on a number of unknown realms. Fate itself seemed to guide his redemption. This or faires.
Mostly because at one point he was taken under the wing (dat pun) of a clan of mystical fairies. Under their guidance he learned to use his powers for justice, love and friendship, especially while wielding 2 huge, glowing swords he was given by them.
Nobody expected his return, least Galagladi, who, after initial reluctance based on distrust, accepted him in their group.
*Thats it for now, I will add Minor Aspects/Other characters/Factions later, then will move onto Caleb&Co.*

Warning: Possibly bad character writing in this post. Reader discretion is advised.
If I decide to redo old characters (from failed RPs 8D) or add new ones, I'll just edit this post.
Species: Human Age: 45 Occupation: Mage-Warrior Background: Born in a town near some city called Annin *cough*oldRP*cough*, Aquacia lived the first fifteen years of his life in solitude. He was deeply interested in magic since when he was young, unlike most other young men in his town, who wanted to become soldiers in the army. A few days after his fifteenth birthday, he said goodbye to his parents and left for the nearest mage tower, which was halfway between the town and the city. Upon arrival, the resident mages were eager to accept new apprentices, and Aquacia soon found himself under the training of a powerful wizard who wished to remain anonymous. The training was long and taxing, but it paid off handsomely.
Fifteen years later, Aquacia was now known as a somewhat competent, but respected, mage, and could hold his own in a fight for a short while. During one of his travels with some ragtag bunch of misfits who were said to come from Annin. At this point, Aquacia wanted to see the world, so he set off with this group from whatever they were setting out to do. Along the way, Aquacia picked up some close-combat abilities from some of the group's members. He took advantage of learning these techniques and incorporated them into his fighting style. When he used just a staff before, he started to learn how to use swords and shields as he journeyed with his friends. In turn, he taught them some magic he'd picked up during his days at the wizard tower.
Now, at forty-five years of age, Aquacia resides near Annin's town square, ready to help when there is a call to action, from an invasion of powerful creatures to stopping a small robbery, because the guards weren't really the best to begin with, even before Aquacia's time.
edit: wait why did I bump this :2xfacepalm:
