I think you should work on it more. I know that you're using LMMS with it's default set of synths; with proper use they do come in handy.

Now if you don't mind, I want to offer a few synthesizers for a spin. They're all VST's, so you should be able to use them through the use of VeSTige.

Synth1 - Ignore the fact that it looks absolutely cheezy, under it's hood lies amazing potential, such a potential that there is a set of over 10000 presets online, and much more if you search with Google.

TAL-NoiseMaker - Has a good set of default presets, can deliver a clean sound, with options to add in some vintage noise to it.

Dirty Harry - Good for glitchy sounds, as if it were straight from a circuitbent chip.

I can personally vouch for the first two, as well as some of the DeLaMancha stuff. (Not that that means much.)

Oatmeal is another good one, if you can find it. The original site seems to be gone. I have it, as well as an enormous pack of patches and such.

I tried to test out a few of the VSTs. Unfortunately LMMS kept crashing or not responding when playing around with a few of them so I didn't get a chance to implement any of them into anything yet. That being said, Stage 2 theme here.

This is actually a music piece (or more like the second one after the first one had me stuck at a certain spot) I started on a long time ago via a request from Snipe to use a certain key signature. Didn't bother do much with it until now.
Another note that the music sounded quite familiar to me after I listened to it a few times, but I can't recall any actual music pieces that I could have accidentally taken ideas from.

Right, so, I gave it a try in the middle of testing some other bosses.

It might be just me, but some attacks are just too difficult for it to be for Stage 2 boss(es). (e.g. some attacks that cover the screen with bullets).
Please balance it more.
