While 'mistress' is on duty, I attempt telepathic communication with the End of Infinity.

"What happened to the previous reality?

And why was it obliterated?

And... who caused the Cataclysm?"

I then wait for an answer. I have no idea if he will answer or not...

I wait.

Wait.

Wait.

Waiting may be boring, but it's a way of gaining trust. If you force the other entity to answer, that entity may become hostile.

For an instant, you sense another. And just as fast, it vanished.

A reply, as but a whisper, responds only with a location nearby.

It wouldn't be difficult to reach it.

I then record that onto a piece of paper, to be given later to 'mistress'.

Apparently, this location has something to do with the Cataclysm.

Might as well check it out, but only after I become stronger.

My control over the planet was absolute, the people under me loyal, It was nice to have something like this again, but I knew it wouldn't be enough. There were many more dangers out there that we had to take care of, and with a single order to them to build the planet into a massive space faring military base I faded from their sight.

Using my connection to the planet, make two clones of myself with the same status effects as me.

Eternus heals. +3 HP.

Donum agrees to play Chess.

Then, suddenly, Loki attacks!

Combat: Donum - 1 VS Loki (Action: 5+7=12 (!)) - 11 Damage

Donum is completely vaporized, and Eternus is next on the list.

(11-5=6) VS 6

But Eternus manages to dodge...barely.

Instead of making two clones, you split into three.

Which is, unsurprisingly, incredibly painful. -2 HP.

[Bonuses weren't supposed to be inverted. Meaning attacks that lowered rolls raised them. But ok. Whee.]
Having successfully summoning his crest, although not not as well as he would have liked, Sebi set out on his adventure at last. He starts his trek out into the world, wondering who he will encounter. And of course, he conjures up another crest to assist his travels as he walks.

Sebi conjures the Crest of Haste to assist himself

(*heals self, because the Staff is supposed to do that 8V*)

Our power is great, but we are vulnerable.

The Guardian swings his stave, summoning a field of energy to raise his endurance and defense.

It's only a matter of time before the world descends into
Pandemonium.
