A fast paced top-down shooter with tons of upgrades and challenging enemies.

:Updates:
v1.03 – Enemies will stand out more in the monochrome style. If you’re colorblind and having trouble seeing enemies against the background, you could try using that. However, it does render slower in this mode. Fixed some other, minor bugs as well.
v1.02 – More game/boss balancing (including Hyperion). Fixed some minor textual errors.
v1.01 – Lowered Hyperion’s HP and increased his time between attacks. Lowered boss HP on the Boss Run level. Made the hitbox graphic more visible.

Well technically the position is random, but the area is so wide and the enemy count equal that it won't seem to be random.
Oh, and yes it's a euroshmup, be thankful for HP and Focus, they will be your best friends bar none.
Oh and the upgrades too.
And something that should attract people [pun not intended]: money is auto-collected, like you have a screen-wide strong magnet. More games should really do this.
EDIT:
I stand corrected.
After playing for a few hours, turns out Flan is right: enemy location is not randomized.
Also, it's telling if the hardest ship to play as is the one with the least focus [which allows slowdown].
