Usually, we'd say no to things like this that directly contradict the layout, but in your case, we'll say definitely no.

I personally don't think forum needs any more sections than the ones it already has, unless there was more active users that is, albeit i would suggest splitting creations section to finished projects and WIP projects, so projects that need help with finishing will be more likely to get it from users that are unfamiliar with layout and could not see these threads otherwise.
I saw creation forums being split like that on many forums so i know what i am talking about, it's up for administration to decide though, i suppose.
