FRAXY - The trailer

Ok guys. Buckle up. We all want more Fraxy, we all would love to show people that Fraxy can be an experience as well as an entertaining hobby or that outlet for your shmup nostalgia. And the best way to do so is by showcasing it.

Im looking for:

-Somebody with good editing skills.
-Somebody good with musics.


Your task is to cobble together a short Fraxy trailer that we will then release to major sites. The trailer should hook people in by showcasing the best and most varying creations in Fraxy, that includes free roam, fixed bosses, TRY, basically any aspect of Fraxy that is fun.

If you're up to the task, or feel like you can help in any way, be it suggestions or looking for sites to advertize the video on, then post here.

Ok, you're on it. You should wait for the video editing people to post tho, you gotta collaborate with them on how the music/video go together.

Video game music won't cut it. There's already a large grey area concering the usage of video game music in Fraxy videos (Exhibit A: Meta's channel). So if we go for a serious trailer for the game, then we should avoid any infringments in it. This goes as well for music as it does for graphics.

In fact, we should contact Mon about this and see if he's ok with that.

I have decent editing software, but that's all, if that helps.
And whenever this will be made, i would suggest balancing it's aspect in a way that hopefully can attract both seasoned STG players and people that are new to the genre, and both scoring and survival aspects of it too.

Completely off-topic / on a different tangent, but what you could also ask mon is to include something like 'Community Best Works' in the default Fraxy file or allow the UFF to do so, then link said package on the trailer. It'd be good if there were also default .fed examples of the usual newcomer questions about how to build stuff with events (like 'weapon looping', 'basic movements', 'effectors set-up').
