(Mastery is a currency which you trade for skills.)Spriterkid wrote:(I'm still trying to figure out what Mastery does. Give me any hints?)
You move, um, up (I assume north) until you get between two open fields due to random encounter!mmxpert wrote:Spriterkid wrote: Upwards!

Be in town.
There was once something here,

Re: Forum RPG: Shadow of the Stars
Early update so fourbox knows where to start
FOURBOX:
You appear in Ferdissia, here seems to be some people around, as well as an equipment shop, a general store and an inn.
Towards the north, you see a road to a relatively small forest that is made of crystallines, and towards the south, you see a giant metal building, and a warning sign is right near the entrance of it.
You check your inventory, some items has appeared there for whatever reason.
oh and the town's BGM, but oh well it didn't really matter much.
NPC:
Santon (Quest available)
Samward (Quest available)
Jater
Anbeth

Talk to Samson, Samward, Janter, and Anbeth. Read the sign.
Something to note, though: I seem to have forgotten what I have on hand. Now I remember just what. So far, so good.
OOC: That song was exactly what I was thinking of when it comes to a town.
Additionally, will you vary battle themes according to enemy type and/or area?

Re: Forum RPG: Shadow of the Stars
Ugh.
Screw the old update schedule, this will now only update when at least all members in one group updated, though it will usually have 20~28 hours between updates though.
Also, the scripts with <insert player name here> can be somewhat annoying, I dunno why.
You talk to Santon
"Hello, Treo Duke. You're asking about the stars? We thought it was normal, therefore we don't have any information about it. Though, you can ask Maret, he seems to know something about this. He's in Silvergrass, which is just across the forest."
Quest objective added: Talk to Maret.
Then you talk to Samward.
"I tried to re-plant the trees, but those pests there just keep taking the seeds away. Treo Duke, can you eliminate like, 10 of them? Oh, and bring back a seed from them, then talk to me."
Quest objective added: Eliminate 10 monsters in Prism Garden, bring back a seed, then talk to Samward.
Then you talk to Jater
"This forcefield is somehow keeping the monsters in the factory, or is it that they didn't wanna come out anyways?"
Then you talk to Anbeth
"Something took over the factory recently, and now everyone but a few of us moved away from here."
Then you inspect the warning sign next to the metal building, the sign says "This place is filled with strong monsters, and we are not responsible for any further deaths inside the factory."
There's different music for each area, and most bosses have a unique battle theme.

(uh I'm pretty sure what you are trying to interacting with but it feels kinda weird when the in-game data doesn't match with your action)[][][][] wrote:Talk to Samson, Samward, Janter, and Anbeth. Read the sign.

There's no BGM change in random encounters, because that would be annoying like when I would post victory theme which would play at the end of EVERY SINGLE BATTLE.[][][][] wrote:OOC: That song was exactly what I was thinking of when it comes to a town.

MMX and spriter:
It doesn't seem to have any effect.
Garden Worm A takes 20 physical non-elemental damage!(crossbow mastery + 4)
Garden Worm A is dead.
Garden Worm B used tackle on Bob!(17.85% hit, 1 hit(s), 3~3 damage per hit, 6.66% crit)
It missed.
