Okay, one vote for Classic, one vote for Salvo.
Also, this Salvo will be used in such a way that each one can be aimed at a different player.
There was once something here,
but it's now gone.

Salvo opens up the possibility of all players ganging up on one commander and peppering his fleet in one turn. Stick with classic.

You are right about that. You can still do the same with Classic, but the effect would not be as damaging (Unless we all hit the same boat, but then there's the whole thing about probability.)

10x10 = 100 grids.
If there are 10 players, nine attacking one same commander, times 5 shots, 45 grids will be blasted off the map. Comparing it to Classic, where only 9 grids will be blasted off.
That's a difference of five times. Agreed.
