After a while, 'mistress' finally does it. A regen, good for two turns' worth.
"...Oh, Silence. You're back. Where'd you been?"
Um... just asked for something. Here's something I'd like you to keep.
I then give a scroll with some words marked on it.
"Uh... what's this?"
"It's a scroll containing something important."
She tries to open it, but she fails. "Why won't it open?"
"Oh yeah, forgot something... We just got out from bad luck, and we can't open that yet for safety reasons."
Little does she know... I sealed it for her sake.
"Oh. Better keep it, then."
She puts it in one of her pouches.
Who is this Silence, anyway, and why does he keep a lot of things from me?
Haste. [+actions / turn]
"I'm not taking over yet."
"Why not?"
"One word: Haste."
Oh. You want me to cast that?
Correct.
She then concentrates again, focusing her Wind energy for increased speed. These sort of things are very important in casting a spell, because concentration increases the power of such spells.
I then think about what's happening.
I had a brief chat with the End of Infinity, and now he has become real -sorta-.
Also, the others have progressed in power greater than that of mine.
I also heard something from the Guardian...
It's only a matter of time before the world descends into Pandemonium.
I have no idea how I heard that -telepathic?- but it conveys a message, a very dire one. With the various powers scattered in this dimension...
...catastrophic power struggles are highly likely to happen.
The thought shudders me.
The situation is post-apocalyptic, with another of its kind primed to happen.
The powers must work to prevent such a scenario to occur.
