In this dream, I was a schoolgirl living in Mitakihara Town, but in the manga, she is called Rika Isoni. Rika had met up with this new, and rather interesting Elite Maho Shoujo there, named Jo Ayara. She told Rika about herself and how her life is, and that she wanted to take her along so she could experience the thrill of how it is for her now as a Maho Shoujo (kind of like Mami did with Madoka and Sayaka). Jo told Rika more about herself, like she was quite a survivor too, and has lasted quite a while as a Maho Shoujo, longer than most others do. Rika decided to go with her, as for she wanted to see it for herself and experience this kind of magic and stuff.
Jo had short brown hair and she always stayed in her "powered up form." She wore a gray maid outfit, and black shoes with these sharp needle-like blades on the toe-parts of the shoes, which are used to deliver sharp kicks to enemies. Her weapon was like a metal magician's staff with a silver orb on one end, and a large needle-like blade on the other. Her Soul Gem in its "portable" form attached to her back, right below her neck.
Rika asked her where Jo lived. Jo said that she changes where she lives from time to time, since she has no family anymore. However, she recently had been staying at this motel. She told Rika to meet her there and we'd get on with it afterwards. Jo gave Rika her spare keycard to the motel and Rika decided to meet her there later, while Jo skipped away. While she did, Rika noticed something else. She also had these thin, black, metallic ring-like things around her wrists and neck, though Rika didn't know what purpose they served.
Later on, Rika found the motel and went inside the room she was told to meet Jo at. The room was rather large (with 3 beds in the bedroom, a rather large kitchen, and living room), although it wasn't like a condo though. It looked like a rather good place to stay though. Rika then yelled in and told Jo that she was here. Rika then heard Jo’s voice, though she couldn't hear where it was coming from. Jo said she wanted to play "hide-and-seek" with Rika, and she wanted her to find her. Rika hates these kinds of games, but Jo refused to come out of hiding. So Rika went looking for her. There wasn't too many places she thought she could hide, but she wasn't anywhere she looked at first. It was hard trying to hunt her down.
Rika then sat down on the couch in her room to think, when she felt something under the cushion. She then looked under and found Jo, well at least part of her. Jo was just a disembodied head, lying under the couch. Rika asked her where the rest of her was, and Jo told her "well that's for you to find out, you aren't done yet till you find the rest of me." Rika set her head down and went looking for her other body parts. First she found her torso, which was cleverly hidden in her closet, hung on a hanger like it was a piece of clothing, and it still had her hips attached. Next Rika looked under a table and found her legs, which were disguised as extra legs on that table (she noticed it had 6 instead of 4). Following that, she found her arms, which she had hid in the refrigerator. Rika then set all of Jo’s body parts in a pile. With that, Jo quickly put herself back together within seconds, and told Rika "great job on finding me."
Rika asked Jo how the heck she managed to cut herself apart like this. Jo told her about how Maho Shoujo's cannot die and can survive fatal wounds, as long as their Soul Gem does not get destroyed. Most Maho Shoujo's merely use this to simply survive longer in battle (like Sayaka did when she got stabbed in the chest by Kyouko). However, Jo decided to use the benefits of this Near-Immortality in a more effective way. She showed me the metallic discs in between spaces on her body are actually custom-made "brackets" she installed in herself, allowing her to split herself apart easily. She cuts her limbs off, and then inserts the brackets between where it was cut off, and the way it is built keeps the skin from reattaching when she heals from her Soul Gem. Then (in a way easier than cutting herself up), she simple unlatches the bracket and her limb comes off, and she can reattach it just as easily. Dunno how they stayed together, maybe she used magnets or small hooks or something. It is like Jo is a living model kit or something. She lifted up her clothes and showed that she has brackets on all the places where she can usefully fall apart. She has brackets in between her neck, waist, wrists, shoulders, ankles, and on the place between her hips and legs.
Due to the way her Soul Gem keeps her alive, as you might know, she can still move her detached limbs, as long as they stay within 200M of her Soul Gem. Unfortunately, this makes it easier for a witch to knock her apart, but as she demonstrated, she can easily reassemble herself when she wants. She also had a suitcase full of spare brackets, should one get destroyed and her limb completely regenerates, and the ones on her arms and legs are labeled so she knows which is the left and right ones. She told me that not many Shoujos take advantage of their Soul Gem like this, but she does know others, and it is useful, and fun for her to fall apart like this. In fact, she said that she gets herself disassembled often, almost on a regular basis.
After explaining how she does it, she pulled her head off, and carried it in her arms, headless-horseman style. She told Rika that she likes holding her head this way more, but doesn't do it in public as to not freak others out. She then asked Rika if doing this scares her at all. Rika told her that she wasn't scared by that, and in fact, was kind of jealous now of her ability. Jo said "well maybe you can, if you make a contract with my master, you'll even get a free wish from it!" Rika replied, “not now, but I'll consider it.” Jo then said to Rika, "well now it’s time that I go show you that witch barrier." Rika picked up a shotgun that Jo gave her, and set out with her.
They left the motel and Rika followed her to this area of the edge of town, where Mami, and Kyouko were also waiting. The portal to the barrier was near, although Rika couldn't see it, she pointed it out. All of them then jumped through the portal, and then they appeared in this witch barrier.
This barrier was actually the barrier of Glacia, The Winter Witch. The Barrier was like a massive ice palace. Rika was really cold there, and didn't expect it to be like that. Jo then demonstrated that she also possesses elemental abilities as her Shoujo power (elements like Fire, Ice, Lightning, wind, water, etc). She then projected a warmed field around them from her staff, and it made it feel somewhat better, but it was still rather cold. Rika, Jo, Mami, and Kyouko then proceeded through.
They then made it to this corridor, where now there were tons of Gregories, Glacia's ice sculpture-like minions, all over the place. These minions are actually the spirits of people Glacia had killed before, now frozen in these ice statues. The minions all had emotionless faces, dagger-like arms, and no legs (they hover). As they are, they were just sort of floating there, not moving. Rika was wondering what those were doing there, when Jo pulled her over, and told Mami, Rika, and Kyouko to keep looking out. Jo told Rika "do not look away from those things, don't even blink, take your sight off them for even a moment, and they'll come after you. Rika then went back, and Jo proceeded to summon some needles to her hand. She told Mami and Kyouko to come over to her. Rika just kept staring at the Gregories, just floating there like statues. Rika tried not to blink, but it was hard, since of the cold air. Rika then blinked, and all of them moved like 2ft closer. It was like the Weeping Angels or SCP-173 or something. Rika was startled by that and she yelled “Oh My Gosh, they moved!” Rika blinked again, and now they were even closer. Again she blinked, and now one of them was really close to killing her, only like half a foot away from her. When Jo then pulled out her staff and shot a lightning blast at one from point-blank range, shattering it to bits. Rika then looked back. Jo, Mami, and Kyouko had all pinned their eyelids open with Jo's needles, so they couldn't blink. Rika told them that was a good idea, and they proceeded on.
They stayed in a huddle and slowly moved through, so we wouldn't slip on the ice floor. We all had to maintain a direct line of sight with all the minions there. It was harder for Rika, due to not being able to do that Needle Eyelid thing, but easy for them. They kept firing shots when they could to destroy them. After a number of rooms, we made it to a large icy doorway. Jo used a fireblast to blow it open, and then they were whisked into the main chamber, where Glacia was waiting for them.
The Witch, Glacia descended into the middle of the chamber and prepared to fight. Mami, Kyouko, Rika, and Jo all went out to face her. Glacia started slamming her massive ice hands down and also shooting ice pillar lines. Jo went and used her divide and conquer move, to try and keep Glacia preoccupied. Rika then grabbed her shotgun and shot at her a few times. Glacia was taking damage, but she was still standing. Next, Glacia tried a move similar to Cirno's Icicle Fall, but even harder (there was no blind-spot and the ice daggers spread out everywhere). Jo was having a hard time now, when Kyouko used a giant spear and slammed it right into Glacia. Glacia's ice outer shell broke off, revealing her solid ghost-like true form, and she backed away. Jo then noticed she was now vulnerable, and she then pulled her head off and charged it with a firey field around it, then tossed it at her like a ball. Her head struck Glacia hard, severely injuring her, and then it slid down. Glacia continued to avoid them since she now could be easily harmed.
Moments later, Glacia's ice outer shell reformed and she came at them again. Mami said "This witch will be able to regenerate as long as its main body is left standing. We are going to have to weaken her, and then hit her full force when she is exposed again." Jo's headless body then tried raining fireballs at her, which was working. Glacia tried using her ice breath on Jo, and she almost dodged it, but her leg got frozen to the ground. While she was closing in on her, Rika jumped up and fired her shotgun repeatedly into Glacia's eye, wounding her. With that, Jo detached her leg to escape, and fired a huge fireball at her. Glacia's outer shell melted off, and now she was exposed again. Jo grabbed her head back and charged up for another fire head throw, while Mami proceeded to use a Tiro Finale Cannon. They both used them simultaneously, and the combined force hit Glacia down for the count. Glacia suddenly exploded and the barrier melted away like ice. Her Grief Seed then came down, which was studded with a snowflake design.
Jo pulled herself together, and then congratulated Rika for helping like that. All of the Shoujo’s now had extremely bloodshot eyes after not blinking for so long, but they could not feel the pain from it at all. They removed the Needles and finally got to blink safely. Rika told her that battle was absolutely wicked and so exciting. Jo told Rika that she could experience it to its fullest, if she makes a contract. Rika told her again that she'd consider it, but not yet. Jo then told Rika to meet her and the others at this old stadium, where she could watch something awesome with them all.
Soon later, Rika met her and the others at this old stadium. It was a large baseball stadium that looked like it was abandoned and was going to be demolished soon. Jo was there, sitting on a bench with her hips and head detached, and eating some chips she had with her. Rika told Jo hi, and then asked her how she eats those without it falling out her neck like that. Jo told Rika she didn't know, but guessed it was one of her powers. Mami and Sayaka were here now too, but not Kyouko. Jo told Rika that today, they were going to have a Sparring match against each other (like a practice fight). Rika was allowed to watch, so she sat in what should be the team lockers seats. That area had glass and stuff, but she still was kind of afraid that their fighting might get kind of dangerous. She then sat back to watch them sparring.
Sayaka and Jo were up first. Jo reminded Sayaka that this is only a sparring match, and no harsh stuff. Sayaka promised Jo that she will refrain from that and promise not to destroy her Soul Gem, and Jo agreed to the same. Right before they went to fight, Jo asked Sayaka if she wanted her to go easy on her. Sayaka said yes, and they proceeded to fight. Jo kept herself together, and launched loads of needles at her, and some lightning blasts. Sayaka kept dodging them and deflecting them with her swords, but Jo fought back with ninja-like skill. Sayaka wasn't landing any hits on her, but neither was Jo. Then they got close and they had swords and staffs clashed. Jo asked her "How are you holding up" then jumped back. She then told Sayaka that she noticed that Sayaka had gotten more skilled and she is glad for that. Sayaka said thank you, but just then looked dumbfounded. Sayaka said "why did I say that," and Jo asked "say what?" Sayaka told Jo about how she agreed to have Jo go easy on her, and Jo said "well you wanted that, so I did." I guess Sayaka must have originally thought Jo was being sarcastic. Sayaka was like "You mean that isn't your best?" Jo replied "of course it wasn't, you've seen me fight way better against evil witches before."
Jo then stepped back and asked that since Sayaka was asking, if she wanted her to now fight her full force. Sayaka kind of stuttered, and Jo asked, "Are you sure?" Sayaka said "well I made myself look like a complete moron there, okay do it," and Jo said, "alright then, if you say so." Jo now went full-throttle, with a myriad of wind and ice based moves. Sayaka went to face her, but already she was overwhelmed. She was taking numerous hits of wind and ice blasts. Jo used her wind powers to fly higher up and then launched a hit from above. Sayaka tried her multi-sword throw, but Jo used her quick detaching skill to dodge every one of the swords with ease. Rika sometimes had to duck to dodge them too. Then Jo pulled a new move. She separated her waist and head, and stuck her head on her waist, and then let her upper torso and arms fight Sayaka like a stationary turret, while she kicks at her with her needle-tipped shoes. Sayaka was getting beaten like a carpet now, as for she had troubles taking her on like two at a time. A lightning shot from Jo then blasted Sayaka against the wall, and then Jo reassembled her body, then ran over to Sayaka, now cornered against a wall. Sayaka got up, and then Jo chopped her arm off with the blade end of her staff. Jo was like "haha, look at that." Sayaka was really uneasy now, but she quickly got over it and said "no problem, I still have another." Jo immedately cut off her other arm and told her "not anymore." Sayaka was now more unsettled about this, deprived of both her arms now, but she then looked at her and said "well I guess I'll have to beat you without arms." Jo then cut her head off, then sliced her off at the waist. Sayaka was now only down to her hips and legs, and then tried to run away. Jo ran after her and cut off her legs, finishing her off.
Sayaka, now completely apart, was trying to remedy this situation. While she was, she was really freaking out, like she scared about what just happened. She tried hopping her head back over, when Jo came over and picked her up. Jo was like "well well well, Sayaka, you really went to pieces there." Sayaka was really stressed out now, and she said "Gah, what have you done to me?" Jo tried saying some stuff to comfort her, even though she told Sayaka she lost, but it wasn’t working. I guess Sayaka wasn’t used to this at all like Jo was. Like Sayaka was rather startled the time when Kyouko stabbed her when they were Play-Fighting before. Now being completely chopped apart and still living was even more startling for her, and perhaps it was rubbing it in even more that Kyubey had tricked her and she is no longer a normal person.
Jo then dropped Sayaka's head, and told her, "well now that we are finished, you should pull yourself together." Sayaka was like "can't you help, I am really not good at this." Jo told her, "c'mon, I do this all the time," but Sayaka replied "you're more skilled at it, I'm not good at putting myself back together, I don’t like it one bit." Rika told Jo to give her a hand, but Jo said "I just want to see her do it okay." Jo then insisted that Sayaka reassemble herself, and with a sigh, Sayaka decided to do so. It was rather humorous, and long, took Sayaka almost 5 minutes to completely get back together, a lot longer than Jo took. Even after that, Sayaka had to walk a bit more careful, perhaps because her body parts weren’t completely reattached well, and would take some time to heal completely. Rika then said to her “wow that certainly looked painful.” Sayaka replied, “well it wasn’t for me, we can’t feel pain anymore.” After that, she went to the seats near Rika, and decided to watch the next sparring match.
Next match was Mami against Jo. This fight they didn't talk much, but it was rather eventful. I can't remember this one as well, but I remember it involved a ton of Mami using her rifles and arm cannons a ton, and Jo counterattacking with her elemental abilities. Mami tried using her ribbons to ensnare Jo at one point too, but Jo disassembled herself then, allowing her to slip out of the ribbons and escape easily. I remember at the very end, Jo tried her head throw attack. Mami dodged it and then held her head at gunpoint where it landed. Right before she could, she felt Jo's body take her by surprise and hold her staff up to her back. Mami had not taken any harm in that fight, but neither had Jo really. They then just ended there and Jo told Mami "well that was a good battle. It seems we two are evenly matched." Mami said "indeed, I see you have become rather skilled as a Maho Shoujo too." With that, the sparring matches ended, and they told Rika to follow them. There was another witch barrier detected.
We went to this area that looked like it was once the site of a military outpost many years ago, but it looked battle scarred. Sayaka now was completely okay, and she could move normally now. Sayaka, Mami, Jo and Rika were in this one. They went into the portal and into this next barrier.
This barrier was rather dark, but you still could see mostly. Jo projected a light from her staff to help them see more. It was very cloudy too, and they could make out various geometric shape structures in places. Rika grabbed her shotgun and proceeded with them into the barrier. This was the Witch, H.N. Lydia's barrier.
As they got into it, they then started hearing a mysterious song, as well as weird signals too. The song was almost haunting to hear in that darkness. Soon, weird, insectoid screeching could be heard. Just then, minions called Signas came out of nowhere and started shooting lasers at them. These minions were like small drone-ship things that make signals and shoot lasers. All of the girls fought back against the Signas and made a run for it. Jo told them where the focus of the barrier was, and said to make a run for it. They used the geometric structures as cover most of the time. As they went in farther, the swarms of Signas became more numerous, and the song and noises became louder and more frequent. In a way, the songs and signals seemed to be something akin to that one TV Screen Witch, Kristen H.N.Elly. It was like they were trying to say something to the Shoujos, but it was too distorted and inaudible to decipher. Here, the noises were almost becoming spooky now. As they went on, they then made out a dark cube-shaped structure in the distance. Jo told them that it was where the Witch is, and they went for it.
Right before they could make it to the entrance, something happened. A massive shield-like dome came around Rika and Jo, and trapped them. Mami and Sayaka were outside and tried to get in, but a massive overwhelming swarm of Signas kept them from doing so. Suddenly a massive being burst out of the ground inside the dome with them. This was not the witch, but a gargantuan second minion type of her's, kind of like a Mini-boss. This minion was called Terrance, and was very insect-like. Terrance resembled a massive centipede with half its body buried in the ground, and sticking out at us. It had smaller legs all down its body. Its head though, looked more like a rose bud with 6 petals. The bud would open up, revealing its head, which has one massive eye, and a core on the forehead. Then suddenly four much larger legs from it burst out of the ground too, possibly attached to it underground. The dome kept the two from escaping, so Rika and Jo had no choice but to face against Terrance.
Terrance fought by trying to crush then with his larger legs, and by firing lasers. His bigger lasers though, he had to open up the bud to use, which left him vulnerable. At this time, Rika and Jo took the moment to shoot at his core, which was proving effective. Sometimes they had to climb up on his legs in order to get a better shot at him. At one point, Jo tossed her head inside of Terrance's bud, right before it closed. This allowed her to attack him while it was still closed, and repeatedly. After that attack, Terrance's petals exploded and now he was completely exposed. Now in desperation, Terrance poked the tips of his larger legs into his body and started charging up. He was trying to finish them off with a massive charged blast. They weren't going to let him do that, so Jo then climbed up and struck him repeatedly in the core with Lightning shots before he could finish charging his stronger attack. This took out his core, and Terrance exploded.
With Terrance done for, the dome vanished. Then suddenly, the Signas that were giving Mami and Sayaka trouble all flew away. They all were whisked into the giant cube structure, and into Lydia's chamber. Lydia descended to battle against them all. Rika was like "whoa, that Witch is piloting a ship?" Jo corrected her and stated "No, the witch isn't in the ship, the Witch IS the ship!" Rika reloaded her shotgun and went to face it with them. Mami also handed Rika some of her rifles to help in the fight. Now at the main chamber, her song was now louder and better heard, but still hard to hear completely well.
Lydia swooped overhead and started raiding the place with lasers. All of the girls ran around dodging and shooting at her. Then Lydia, who was pissed off, started making a massive continuous screeching noise. It was really bad, the noise made it hard to focus. Sayaka and Mami tried to do it and Sayaka threw a ton of her swords at Lydia, injuring her. Lydia then responded by using a massive compressed sound blast and more homing lasers, blowing back Sayaka. Mami then tried a Tiro Finale, but the cannon shot missed. Rika ran back to the walls and Mami went near to protect her. Then Lydia flew down and tried to corner them.
Just then, Jo came in and made a massive blast from her staff. Lydia "heard" the blast, and went over there, ignoring them. Jo ran over to them and told them "it appears that Lydia is almost blind, but she uses some sort of Radar-like sense to see, but I have an idea now on how we will beat her." Jo went about and scattered pieces of herself everywhere. Rika then went to higher ground. When Rika had the chance, she jumped and grabbed onto Lydia's back. Lydia felt her on her back and tried to shake her off, but Rika held on and starting firing the guns she had into her nosecone. Just then, the others enacted their plan. Jo's limbs and Mami started making explosions and stuff everywhere, though not directly towards Lydia. This seemed to start overloading Lydia's senses, as for she made noises as if pained and was flying around randomly. Rika held on and kept pounding bullets into her. Sayaka then jumped down and with a tremendous slash, cut Lydia's wing off. Lydia crashed to the ground, now unable to move. Rika then shot her a bunch more times until she was finished. Lydia then exploded, and the entire barrier shattered away, dropping her Grief Seed. Jo reassembled herself and grabbed the seed. Jo told Rika “Excellent Job for slaying a Witch yourself,” and told her that she’d make a great Maho Shoujo. Rika still declined, but Jo said, well there's always the opportunity. Come see my master, Kyubey, if you want to. Jo said that she and the others were going to take a break now and she should meet them at another place in town. Rika went off and went to get more stuff.
Later on Rika met them again. This time, it was Jo, Mami, Sayaka, and Homura. They said Rika was quite an enthusiastic one, and she liked that about her. Jo kept holding her head in her hands now, and was not keeping it on. Jo also seemed like she was becoming more depressed for some reason. Homura then interrupted, telling them about another Witch Barrier nearby, and we went over to it, they jumped into the Portal and into this next barrier. It was like a massive factory and workshop where various stuff was being made. The whole place's art style was done in a medium-quality less-advanced CGI graphics look, kind of like the CGI graphics look like on a Typical Nintendo64 game. The factory was large, and we proceeded through. This was the barrier of Kolour, the Puppet Witch.
Inside there were these minions called Lalas, who looked like patched-together dolls with black eyes, red bows, and fairy wings. These were the worker variants of them. Some of them also had ropes tied around their neck for some reason. They were hard at work, operating the machines to make various appliances, and working at sewing on the many work-benches. Sayaka got a bit tough, and then cut one of them in half while it was working. They first thought the minions were going to attack now, but they didn’t. They just sent in two more to gather up its remains, and then got another minion to replace that one, and continued working as if nothing happened. The workbench minions also seemed to be making dolls for some reason. The girls went on, happy to see the minions didn't want to hurt us.
As they got on, they found that the only way to get into the main chamber was to navigate through and inside the machinery. They split up for this. Mami and Homura went with Rika, and Sayaka and Jo went as another group. They had to like jump and navigate though the machines and they had to be careful. It wasn't too hard for Rika and the others, just had to watch your step. As Rika did, she saw this factory seemed to be dangerous for the Lalas too. Many times, they saw one of them accidentally get caught in one of the machines and then killed or "processed" into an appliance. They didn't take their losses hard, and just simply went on with replacements, or used the ones made from the minions. If it were a normal factory, I bet I’d sue them for safety hazards. The hazards were the main problem, and thankfully they had no minions to worry about hurting us.
Then at one point, Homura was apparently not being careful. While navigating the factory, Homura accidentally fell into one and got caught in one of the machines and she was immediately "processed." Mami and Rika went to try and save her. They could hear Homura inside the machine at times saying things like “what sort of Magic is this,” and “Gah, stop doing this to me!” The machine then dispensed her out, with her Soul Gem separate (but still intact). Poor Homura however, got changed into a large, soft, rectangular piece of fabric. They could still see it was Homura though, since she still looked the same, but she was flat and reshaped rectangularly, and felt softer and fuzzier. A Lala went to grab her and use her in making more things. Rika pushed it out of the way before it could grab her, and retrieved Homura and her Gem. Rika asked if Homura was okay. Homura replied to her “Well, I guess so, I do feel rather fluttery though, I’m all wavy now, but it feels rather nice in fact.” Rika told Homura to stay calm, and that she could help. Rika tied Homura around her waist like she’s an apron, and put Homura’s Gem into her pocket. Homura could not move her body much now, but she could still spawn weapons in this form, so Rika decided to use them for her. Rika then followed Mami into the barrier. They then met back up with Sayaka and Jo, and proceeded into the central chamber. They then found it, but first hid behind some pillars to see what the Witch was doing.
Kolour was a rather different Witch. She was mostly yellow, blue, and white, and had a ball-bearing wheel for legs. Her head was kind of mask-like, and had a beak-shaped nose, but with a hook at the end, and her eyes were all black, but with white pupils. She had 4 arms, two large sized, two human-sized (as for she was really big). Also she had a hunched-over back, and she was wearing a red headband and a red bow around her neck. Also on many parts of her body, were these sewn-on patches and some bandages, all in different colors.
This witch sat in her main chamber, at a giant workbench. She used her human-sized arms to make various appliances and dolls like the minions were. Then a cluster of Lalas came in, all with finished dolls and appliances. Rika noticed the finished dolls looked just like the minions, but they weren't moving. They'd hand them to Kolour, and Kolour would examine them. Most of them she apparently didn't like, or found they were defective or something. For these ones, she'd them grab the unwanted items and fire a quick energy blast, destroying them, then tell those minions to return to work. Some did "meet the standards though." For those ones, she'd first put the appliances in a large bin full of completed appliances, which was beside her table. Then she'd take the finished dolls and put them in the palm of her large hands. She'd use some sort of magic, making sparks go into the doll, and it would bring the doll to life. The new doll would then join the other minions and go to work with them. Apparently, the minions were also helping make more of themselves, and the Witch would vitalize them. Rika felt bad, as for this Witch didn't seem to be evil, but Jo reminded her about Witches, and Rika decided not to. They all went to face Kolour, Rika grabbing some of Homura's summoned weapons. The witch saw them and stopped what she was doing to fight against them.
Kolour fought back by conjuring energy balls in her hands to throw, and also with powerful beams fired from her eyes. Rika took a high spot and used a Sniper Rifle to hit her from afar. They didn't seem to be hurting her though, until Jo found her weakness. Jo fired some of her needle-shots at Kolour's one patch, making it burst and polyester stuffing-like stuff poured out (I think that's what she has for blood). Kolour looked injured, so they found that to damage her, they had to destroy all the patches and bandages. She had like 10 other ones on her body, and they had to take them all out. The witch sent in her other, more offensive variants of her Lala minions now. These first new ones had blue outfits and long lances to fight with. Others wore black outfits and pointy witch-like hats, and were armed with a deck of cards with sharp edges, that they would throw like Ninja Stars. This made things tougher, but they kept fighting. Rika helped blow off some of the Witch's patches, and dealt with most of the minions. I forget how the rest of the fight went, but Jo delivered the final blow with an Ice dagger. The witch exploded and the barrier seemed to turn to smoke and vanish. Homura now changed back to normal, and the Grief Seed of the witch appeared. Homura decided to take this one, for she needed it more. They all congratulated each other and decided to go out, though Rika stayed with Jo.
Jo led Rika back to her motel room. They were walking there, but Rika noticed Jo seemed depressed about something. Rika asked her what was wrong, and Jo was acting very emotional. Then suddenly, while we were on the sidewalk, (not anywhere near the motel though), Jo fell apart and collapsed, as if she lost consciousness. Rika went to see what was wrong with her, when suddenly this wind tunnel formed around her body, and purple energy started accumulating around her. Then her Soul Gem on her back glowed, and shattered, and turned into a Grief Seed. Rika saw that Jo's time had come, and she was undergoing her transformation into a Witch. Rika was not in any position to handle the situation, so she left Jo where she was and made a run for it as far away as she could, while Jo underwent her change.
I woke up from my dream after this. That's where it ended, and where this manga will end when it is finished too.
