It don't matters what allowed or not, people will create only bosses one way or another, i suppose.
From what i see from the point i returned, i never saw much interest of concentrating on making stage/gameplay parts on this forum, sadly.
So whatever you state it will lead to another 'make a whatever boss' contest and disappointment from my side, unless you state that stage/gameplay part is required, which i doubt to happen considering what i just said, i suppose.

With that, as i said in the post before, considering that opinion, it don't matters with these type of contests, sorry.

The problem is that making a proper stage requires more thought and time put into enemies, even more so if it has to follow a theme.

Some people have enough problems as is finishing just the boss.

Build-a-stage contests can be made, just don't expect much variation in the participants (i.e., the ones that can make stages are the ones that will -always- be there. Kind of like it happens with boss contests right now, but with less contestants)

If you guys are seriously doing an ikaruga contest, I suggest making a better system concept than mine. Mine is outdated, and didn't even work in the first place.
