Help needed with a multi-stage attack pattern

Post by VestedGamr »

As I said in my introduction thread, I need some help with a project of mine. The attack pattern gets stuck in a loop while firing homing lasers. I'm thinking it has something to do with the variables not setting themselves properly, but I can't seem to be able to get it to work properly. Could someone look through the events and point out what needs to be fixed and how to fix it?

I'll take a look at it, see what I can figure out.

Edit: I see what the problem is, you don't have an event setting Global Variable 2 back to 0. That's why it keeps going. Change that and the problem should disappear.

That helped... sort of... however none of the other events that are triggered by global variable 2 being set to 0 are activating.

Edit: I have the event set up, but for some reason it's refusing to set the variable, as though the event just doesn't exist.

Thanks for the help. Now I can finally get to work on adding additional forms.

As for the name... I agree that it's poorly thought out. It was late and I was tired when I first started on the thing, and Final Soldier sounds a LOT better when you're sleep deprived.
